The Candidate duties include the following: - Coordinate and facilitate business stakeholder meetings to discover, analyze, inventory, document legacy reports including, but not limited, to SAS routines.
- Collect and document requirements in organized manner
- Assist in the evaluation of technical solutions and make recommendations based on sound reasoning.
- Follow software development processes, prepare detailed technical documentation, and generate work estimates in an SDLC environment.
- Work both independently and as part of project team interacting with product owners, internal/external stakeholders, applications, and other Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse staff to discover, analyze, inventory, document and assist in implementing solution.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Years Required/Preferred Experience
- 5 years experience in requirement gathering, customer engagement, customer communication and project management
- 5 years experience with data warehousing design/development
- 5 years experience developing detailed technical documentation
- 5 years experience documenting solutions and accurately conveying to technical SMEs
- 5 years experience with SAS (Statistical Analytical System) programming
- 4 years experience with data warehouse architecture standards, process, and methodology, with good knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools
- 4 years experience identifying, creating, and participating in the implementation of business process improvements and systems that deliver tangible value 4 Required Experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban
- 4 years experience understanding complex issues and facilitating resolution
- 4 years experience with highly complex application security requirements
- 4 years experience with Oracle (18+) data warehousing development
- 4 years experience with Oracle database programming (SQL, TSQL, PL/SQL, BTEQ)
- 2 years experience in public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
- 2 years proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
