Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR OF REGIONAL REGISTRATION to join our team!
Under general direction of the Manager of Registration, the Supervisor of Registration is responsible for day-to-day supervisory duties occurring in pre-registration, outpatient registration, emergency departments, and switchboard users (if applicable). This includes enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring the accuracy of data entered by the team, promoting a positive patient experience, and ensuring timely resolution of registration and billing errors in work queues.
Maintains a solid understanding and knowledge of payer requirements, registration and scheduling workflows, and referral requirements essential to ensuring staff follow procedures and Aspirus receives maximum reimbursement. Supervisory duties also include ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met, providing day-to-day coaching and training, exercising independent judgement in hiring and corrective/disciplinary action, and reviewing performance. Facilitate WQ assignments at both the regional and system level in alignment with the goals and directives of Aspirus Inc. Revenue Cycle.
HOURS: Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two weeks' pay period.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of billing and collection standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree in Business, Finance or other related field.
Three years' experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or at least two years of related experience in a leadership role required
Detailed knowledge of registration procedures in a hospital outpatient setting required
Travel to local and regional sites with some overnight travel is required.
