Aerospace - Quality Assurance Root Cause & Corrective Action

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Job Type: Full Time

Frequency: Monday - Friday

Duration: 6 month contract

Hrs/week: 40 hrs /week with possible overtime

Pay Rate: $28.00-$30.00/hr. based on experience

Work Setting: Manufacturing

Must be able to work in manufacturin environment

Responsibilities:

Job Description Summary:

This position requires regular attendance as you will play a crucial role in supporting root cause and implementation of corrective actions. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product

review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement process improvement and corrective to process problems based on the analysis of failures in key product variables, quality critics and customer complaints
  • Establish barriers/containment actions to ensure non-recurrence in: Corrective Actions Complaints, Failures, Internal Deviations, and Late Deviations
  • Prepare reports of inspections, tests, failures and complaints
  • Implement process improvement and corrective to process problems based on the analysis of failures in key product variables, quality critics and customer complaint
  • Audit processes, product and quality system to verify compliance with established regulations and quality standards
  • Utilize PFMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure continuous compliance with Processing Plans and maintain acceptable product quality.
  • Offer reliable solutions to a variety of problems using problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Min (5) years experience in production quality
  • Min (3) years in aerospace manufacturing
  • RCCA experience
  • Familiarirty with QMS systems and tools
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and eye examination
