Responsibilities:
As a Creative Team member, proficiently juggle many projects at once while maintaining quality control
Must be open to feedback and comfortable with making multiple rounds of production changes
Acute attention to detail
Work closely with Project Management, Procurement, and Compliance teams
Take ownership while working collaboratively to manage complex packaging projects
Following/adhering to timelines for multiple projects concurrently
Pre-flight files and archive materials
Keep proofs archived on server
Make edits to pre-existing files during the design process
Package art files for release to print partners
Assist Creative, Marketing, and Sales teams with ad hoc requests
Utilize and lend technical knowledge to build and keep uniformity among all print mechanicals
Maintain our asset database on the server using existing agreed-upon naming conventions
Be proactive in envisioning and implementing new efficiencies in processes and workflow
Understanding of verifying the accuracy of copy, regulated package elements, and basic compliance requirements
Ensure the integrity of the Approved Concept design throughout the production process
Collaborate with team Creative to choose and standardize inks and color builds for printing
Attend press checks for printed materials when necessary
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant work experience required
Advanced understanding of print processes and prepress technology are essential
Must be highly proficient in industry-standard design software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Able to troubleshoot minor problems with fonts, applications, and our internal platform
Expert understanding of type/fonts and vector-based vs. raster-based design; A good eye for layout design
Ability to build strong, technically tight, problem-free mechanicals for print is essential
Proficient knowledge of CMYK, RGB, and color modes
Solid technical skills; Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong project-management skills, organizational skills, and time-management skills
Acute attention to detail
Beverage and alcohol industry experience is a definite plus
