Aspirus Westwood Conference Center in Wausau, WI is seeking a PROVIDER INSURANCE ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST to join our team!

The Provider Insurance Enrollment Specialist is responsible to enroll all Aspirus provider types with insurance payors to ensure proper payment for services provided from the payors. This includes enrollment into contracted and non-contracted (Government) plans processed via paper and electronic applications. This position is also responsible to ensure all information related to the enrollments is updated timely and accurately. This will require collaboratively working with various people within and outside of the Aspirus organization. This position is responsible to research various questions on claim issues relating to provider enrollment. The Provider Insurance Enrollment Specialist will be part of any requested audits to ensure provider records are up to date or that claims are being properly filed.

HOURS: Full-time or 1.0 FTE. 80 hours per two weeks pay period.

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of insurance billing practices normally acquired through previous experience.

High School graduate or equivalent required; Associate Degree in business preferred.

Minimum of two years in billing, credentialing, or equivalent in a medical or business office setting.

Proficient in database management and Microsoft Office applications preferred. These include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.

Must be familiar with HIPPA guidelines when communicating with others, working in patients' accounts or chart, and in holding the integrity of the patient data. All things viewed in a patients' chart or accounts will remain confidential in accordance to Aspirus' policies and governmental regulations.

Ability to adapt and work with various insurance web-sites to find information as well as learn other systems used for this role, including but not limited to Cactus and Epic.
