Job Details
This person will need to setup new machines. We have not yet implemented a standard image, but that is on my short list to do. We have some steps documented to set up machines. There isn't a huge amount of software loaded on the machines, but we do have to install printer drivers, Dymo label printer, signature pad drivers, and PawnSnap client.
- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance
- Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
- Manage distribution and tracking of hardware assets
- Maintain and enforce security measures to protect company assets
- Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
- Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide needed information on IT products or services
- Keep record of problems and their resolution
- Customer-oriented communication and follow-up
- Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
- Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
