- Patients on this unit are dealing with difficult diagnoses.
- Our ideal nursing candidate will have the proven ability to exercise patience, flexibility, and careful listening when their efforts are often tested.
- This nurse will strive to calm patients when they become agitated, strengthen patients coping skills, and make it a build a therapeutic, meaningful relationship.
- Evaluate and treat mental health needs of adult psych patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and physicians to develop care plans
- Support the personal care of geri-psych patient population
- Educate and support patients, their caregivers, and families
- Maintains confidentiality and dignity of patients
- Proven ability to exercise patience and understanding in high stress situations
Required:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active nursing license in the state of Arkansas or license with eNLC privilege
- One (1) year of experience is a Registered Nurse
