We are seeking a talented Technical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and possess strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software. If you have a keen eye for detail and a background in Fitting/Specking Garments , we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Collaborate with design and product management teams to develop technical specifications for new products
- Conduct fit sessions on Fit Mannequins , including size sets to make necessary fit corrections
- Communicate Fit Comments with Freelancers trying on clothing on their children
- Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments
- Conduct fittings and provide feedback on garment construction
- Create detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator
- Utilize CAD software to translate design concepts into technical drawings
- Create Tech Packs
- Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into design
Qualifications:
- Understanding of garment construction
- Ability to identify fit issues and present options to solve issues
- Proficient in Illustrator, MS Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to team members and appropriate depts
- Time management and organization skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Sense of urgency and Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to proactively problem solve
