**Job Summary:**

Responsible for implementation and maintenance of network servers, and related systems and software to support the organizations needs. Monitor performance and capacity of systems and implement modifications and upgrades when required.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

* Provides network support by researching, analyzing, and resolving associated problems.

* Documents, tests, and implements network applications and provide ongoing support.

* Studies and projects requirements including software, equipment and facilities and makes recommendations.

* Provides training for department staff and end-users on all network systems and software when necessary.

* Provides guidance in the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems and data communications.

* Evaluates implements and maintains networking systems and related network infrastructure which includes performing network upgrades of software and hardware on file servers and infrastructure hardware.

* Performs administrative functions on all network systems as needed for implementation, support and maintenance.

* Interface with vendors for support, upgrades, and installations.

* Understands and follows all policies, procedures, and controls as they relate to Sarbanes-Oxley and Information Systems.

* Provides 24 hour on-call support to respond to the Information Systems needs or issues of the organization.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**

**Minimum Requirements**

* Associates degree in computer sciences preferred. A bachelors degree in computer science desirable.

* Four (4) years of Information Systems experience and a strong understanding of networking on multiple platforms.

* Must possess in-depth knowledge of server hardware, server operating systems and network equipment.

* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.

* Must be willing to work varying hours some of which may include overtime.

* Must be able to work on numerous tasks with some of them having changing deadlines.

* Overtime may be required of position.
