The Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintaining an audit ready outside environment and area at the cheese plant site and permeate plant site. Job Responsibilities Operations of basic power and landscaping tools, street sweeper, forklift, etc. Anticipate and take care of issues that would negatively affect quality audits of the grounds. Troubleshoot and make basic repairs to plumbing and sprinkler systems. Maintain inventory of supplies. Support WR/ Grounds Mechanic. Perform general housekeeping tasks in and around the wastewater treatment facilities, main plant area, and permeate plant area. Perform general painting tasks to outside curbs, parking lots, driveways and safety bollards. Develop an understanding of the site storm water and waste management regulatory requirements. Ensure all entry areas are safe from hazards like snow and ice.
