Come and join our awesome MECHANICS! The Fleet Mechanic Trainee is responsible for performing PM inspections on all types of vehicles, executing basic repairs, ordering parts, and taking inventory. As a Mechanic Trainee, you will be working under our experienced Mechanics to learn the trade and advance your career. Core Duties:Perform preventive and routine maintenance on our various pieces of equipment which range from light duty gas cars and SU - Vs, medium duty gas vans & pickup trucks, heavy duty diesel semi tractors, trailers with lift gates and box van trucks with lift gates. Service and repair the various systems found on the gas and diesel equipment which range from mechanical, air/pneumatic, hydraulic, brakes, steering, and suspension. Communicate with drivers about pre and post trip DVI - Rs, that cause an unsafe condition within the vehicle. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and OHSA standards.
