ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Pay Considerations The starting annual pay for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work five (5) days per week, (40-hour work week), Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (hours will vary on meeting days).
THE ROLEUnder general supervision, performs specialized administrative and technical work related to the operation of the Offices of the Town Clerk, Zoning Administrator, and Town Manager. Assisting Town Manager with communications and social media.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience
Associate s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public or Business Administration, or closely related field
Two (2) years of experience in creating verbatim transcripts and official meeting minutes from both audio recordings and/or live proceedings.
Equivalency: Four (4) years equivalent combination of education, training, and experience involving direct public contact and extensive customer service, two (2) of which include working with strict timelines.
Licenses and Certifications
Must possess or can obtain a valid Maryland\Delaware state driver s license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Notary public within twelve (12) months of hire/reclassification.
Certified Municipal Clerk or course work toward that status is preferred but not required.
