We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer for plastic manufacturing facility in the Houston, TX area. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality packaging of our products according to company standards. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Pack plastic products into designated containers or boxes according to specified packaging standards.
Count, inventory completed products and package correct amounts for each customer order.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
Label containers accurately with required information such as product codes, lot numbers, and dates.
Monitor packaging supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.
Maintain a clean and organized packing area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding packaging, safety, and quality.
Qualifications:
Previous packaging experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in a packing or manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Able to stand for long periods and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Basic mathematical skills for counting and recording inventory.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
