The Food Service Partner performs job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control/sanitation. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with TJC, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

This position is full-time and supports our Corporate Cafes, availability to work at all locations from Oceanside to La Jolla required. Shifts will be varied with some possibilities for weekends.

All healthcare personnel are required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated (and boosted once eligible) against COVID-19 or agree to receive the vaccination at the point of hire or submit a written request for an exception based on a medical reason, disability or sincerely-held religious belief, practice or observance with supporting documentation. Proof of vaccination and booster (if eligible) must be submitted at the pre-employment physical. All employees are required to be up-to-date with their scheduled COVID-19 vaccine dose (2nd dose or booster) within 2 weeks of becoming eligible for such dose to be considered compliant. Failure to submit proof of vaccine or booster dose or an approved exemption within that two week window will result in suspension without pay and/or termination for non-compliance.

SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test given by certified manager or designee

Preferred Qualifications:

Food Service experience
