Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Service Technician at our Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area location. The Mechanical Service Tech is critical role for Van Doren Sales to support our customers. On a daily basis you will be working with Fruit Warehouses focusing in on the maintenance and/or troubleshooting and repairing Van Doren manufactured equipment, including the sales of parts. To be successful in the role this person must be self-driven and motivated. In this position, you report directly to the Service Manager. Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and automation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and conveyance equipment
- Offer solutions and sales or parts and repair kits
