Administrative Assistant - Contract - Jersey City, New Jersey NJ
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant for a temporary contract position based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of different administrative tasks, including travel arrangements, expense reporting, invoice processing and calendar management. This role serves as a key point of contact for external agencies and requires a strong ability to prioritize work assignments.
Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or certification. An associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organisation, planning, records management and general administration.
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant computer software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance and direction.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities will be:
- Perform general administrative duties including travel arrangement, expense reports processing, and invoice tracking.
- Adhere to corporate travel and expense policies.
- Maintain and update calendars for assigned individuals and departments.
- Coordinate with other organisational calendars to schedule key events.
- Serve as a main point of contact for external agencies in scheduling meetings.
