Job Title Park Customer Service Seasonal Associate Location Multiple Locations Join the team of personable attendants and concession workers with the North Dakota State Parks and Recreation Department and experience working where thousands of park visitors from different states, regions, and countries vacation. The North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department is currently looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about working with people and enjoy the outdoors so dont miss your opportunity to be part of this legendary team. Responsible to the park manager, park ranger or administrative assistant who supervises the operation of a visitor center, park entrance station and/or a park concession operation in a state park. Your duties provide a sense of well-being, knowledge, and friendliness exemplifying the nature of all North Dakotans. Will be required to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

* Greet park visitors and dispense visitor information on park fees, reservation system, rules, regulations and activities.

* Operation of park communication systems.

* Collect and account for park permits and fees.

* Complete administration reports and forms.

* Perform routine maintenance duties.

* Perform duties associated with retail sales and visitor services which may include food and beverage service operations.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Applicant must be at least 15 years of age.

* Ability to use Point of Sale System (POS), Online Management System (OMS), and a computer.

* Ability to clearly communicate instructions, directions, and information to the public in person and by telephone.

* Good skills working with the public and interacting with people of all ages, interests, viewpoints, and backgrounds.

* Adequate math knowledge to accurately perform routine daily functions of the park to include balancing and recording daily sales receipts.

* Possess and maintain a valid drivers license with the ability to operate motor vehicles.

Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
