Job Details for Industrial Maintenance Technician :

  • Schedule: Weekdays 12 hour shifts 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (Compressed scheduled: Alternating 3 / 4 day work weeks, with overtime available).
  • Pay: $30-$33/hr
  • Direct Hire- Incredible benefits, PTO and 401k!


Job Responsibilities for Industrial Maintenance Technician:

  • Perform Protective, Predictive and corrective maintenance programs and daily tasks and chick lists.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
  • Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches and other electrical parts and equipment.
  • Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Read and interpret electrical control and mechanical assembly drawings for all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both Electrical and Mechanical problems.


Job Requirements for Industrial Maintenance Technician:

  • High school diploma or GED; plus, 3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Full and complete understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Must have good working knowledge of all aspects of electrical controls, mechanical assembly, plumbing, and heating, ventilating and air conditioning related control systems.
  • Should be able to understand and diagnose electrical issues.
  • Machine set- up, troubleshoots equipment failures, and perform repair and prevent maintenance services.
  • Must have good working knowledge of all aspects of electrical controls, mechanical assembly, plumbing, and heating, ventilating and air conditioning related control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical control and mechanical assembly drawings, as well as service manuals for all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both Electrical and Mechanical problems associated with Production and Facility equipment in a timely manner.
