Job Details
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Receiving Specialist to become a key member of their dynamic logistics team.

Start times are at 4am or 12pm with the expectation of 8 hour shifts Sunday-Thursday, with Fridays & Saturdays off.
Focus:
- Oversee all receiving functions, including the scheduling, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments to ensure they meet timeliness and quality criteria.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to streamline receiving operations.
- Liaise with various internal departments to promote seamless operations and communication.
- Address any discrepancies or delays in shipments to maintain operational flow and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all receiving tasks comply with applicable industry standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain meticulous records of all incoming goods, preparing detailed reports on activities and metrics for management.
- Serve as the primary contact for all receiving-related queries and issues.
- Manage billing and invoicing processes linked to received goods to guarantee accurate financial records and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Design and optimize the layout of the warehouse to enhance efficiency and safety in material handling.
Skill Set:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Basic Computer skills
- Capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build solid relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Able to regularly lift or transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds
