F&F Transport is actively hiring Auto and Diesel Technicians. Applicants with light-duty and heavy-duty equipment repair and preventative maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on your knowledge, experience, certifications, and starting pay ranges from $22-$28/hour. And we offer a comprehensive benefits package with company match 401k!
Based in Fonda, New York,F&F Transport, Inc.was founded in 1995 to support the transportation needs of Keymark Corp. of Fonda, NY, Lakeland, FL, and Kasson & Keller of Fonda, NY. We have since expanded our services to companies looking for reliable logistics services.
We have a dedicated fleet of brand new Peterbilt Tractors and new aluminum flatbed air-ride suspension trailers and dedicated in-house to ensure on-time delivery.
General Scope of Technician Responsibilities:
- Tire repairs and changes
- Balancing
- Brake services
- Tune-ups
- Diagnostic experience
- Engine repairs
- Electrical diagnostics
- Suspension diagnostics and repair
Required Tools & Minimum Knowledge:
- Must have all of the basic hand tools, air tools, up to 1/2" impact sockets
- Experience with ratchets, sockets, and screwdrivers (both metric and SAE)
- Familiarity with a test light and digital multimeter
- Adequate storage for tools
Requirements:
Proficient in using all of the tools as well as light auto repair. Please let us know if you hold any certifications (ASE-Certification etc)
