Salary Payroll Processor

The US Salary Payroll Processor role provides support to all Rolls-Royce US salary employees. In this role you will complete salary payroll runs; including reviewing pay and concerns, answering employee business questions and adhere to deadlines to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Works with HR, People Services staff to ensure hours are correct and ensures that payroll is processed accurately for all assigned employees in accordance with US Law by processing the time in the payroll system and reviewing for accuracy
  • Ensures that Rolls-Royce complies with federal, state withholding (depositing and reporting) requirements including issuing timely and accurate pay checks, maintaining adequate records of all data and transactions, responding to employee questions and resolving issues and assuring privacy of all payroll related records
  • Ensures that payroll is compliant with all union collective bargaining agreements
  • Able to problem solve complex pay issues that require additional analysis or information gathering; Complete tasks to support audit activities; ability to analyze each pay for anomalies, research and prepare potential solutions to errors as they arise; Participate in review and balancing of year-end forms; Supports monthly GL reconciliations by providing supporting documents
  • Serves as a backup for the payroll processors in other areas as needed
Basic Requirements:
  • US Payroll Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years' experience in payroll OR
  • Associates Degree in Finance/Accounting with 1+ years' experience in payroll
  • ADP Workforce Now and Workday system experience
  • In order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bilingual (English and French) preferred
  • CPP Certification
  • Proven Organizational Skills

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
