You will take the reins of our Single Family Portfolio, leveraging your knowledge of the Midwest real estate market to lead and optimize our operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, and team leadership to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property management, a proven track record of managing investment properties, and a passion for creating a positive impact in the communities we serve. Your responsibilities will extend to managing a team of 10+ team members making you a core leader in our dynamic organization.

You will work closely with the CEO and COO to develop and execute strategies that drive our company's objectives and solidify our reputation in the industry. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring our continued success as one of the seven companies in our portfolio.

Position: Property Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Real Estate Investment Management:
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of single family investment properties, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with project managers and property managers to ensure high standards of property maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess property conditions and operations.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing property management team of 10+employees, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and business units.
Tenant and Client Relations:
  • Ensure high tenant and client satisfaction levels through proactive management and responsive service.
  • Address and resolve tenant and client complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in property management.
  • Single-family home property management is a plus.
