Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic nursing care procedures for patients, including vital signs monitoring and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient service.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
- Document patient interactions and care provided accurately in medical records.
- Assist with urgent care needs and emergencies as required.
Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital or medical office setting.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records systems like Epic.
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center operations and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and their families.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques.
- CNA License

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Standard shift:
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Night shift
* Overnight shift
Weekly schedule:
* 5x8
* Monday to Friday
* Rotating weekends
Experience:
* Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* CPR Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
* Stony Brook, NY (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
