Health, Safety and Environmental Associate - OCU

Job Details

• Managing the agenda,


• Sending meeting invites,


• Coordinating MOC team members,


• Taking detailed notes in meetings,


• Identifying action plans,


• Supporting risk assessment documentation,


• Tracking completion of actions, and


• Closing out projects in the MOC tool.


• This role will also provide general support for the HSE team and may include the following: Using Ariba to create and manage Purchase Orders, supporting PPE purchase program, completing risk assessments, performing data analysis, preparing presentations, and managing programs.

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.


• A College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety or related field preferred.


• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.


• Some previous Administrative experience and the ability to take good notes and follow up is strongly preferred.


• Must be well organized and a self-starter


• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner


• Comfortable using electronic tools and programs including: Excel, Corporate MOC SharePoint Tool, Enablon, PowerPoint, and other HSE electronic programs and tools.


• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.


• Comfort and ability to learn to learn new software

• Ability to successfully work as a part of a team.


• Ability to work 1st Shift: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM
