Job Description: Live Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Physician to join our team as both a Supervising Physician for Physician Assistants (PAs) and a Collaborative Physician for Nurse Practitioners (NPs). The primary role of this position is to be an on-call resource, providing guidance and support to our providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Supervising Physician for Physician Assistants.
  • Act as a Collaborative Physician for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Be available on-call to offer clinical guidance and support to PAs and NPs.
  • Review and approve patient care plans, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development for PAs and NPs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family or Emergency Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in NJ.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a family medicine or urgent care setting.
  • Experience supervising Physician Assistants and/or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
