Fully Remote No-Fault Collections Attorney

Our rapidly growing law firm is seeking to add a fully remote No-Fault Attorney with a minimum of 10+ years of experience to join our No-Fault Collections team. The ideal candidate will have 10 years or more of no-fault arbitration and no-fault litigation experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced No-Fault Collections attorneys and support staff, while you work independently.

Starting at $120,000+

These job duties may evolve over time as needed:

• Handle all aspects of no-fault arbitration and litigation files, from file assignment through

arbitration/trial

• Appearance at arbitrations and court appearances in Suffolk County, Nassau County and the five boroughs
• Conduct examinations under oath
• Arbitration & litigation preparation
• Filing and conducting master arbitrations, trial denovos, motions and appeals
• File negotiations and settlements
• ?Drafting, reviewing and editing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, expert exchanges and other correspondence
• Fee Scheduling
• Must understand medical necessity arguments and must be versed in Fee Schedule
• Drafting, reviewing and editing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, expert exchanges and other correspondence
• Conducting and defending depositions of all party and non party witnesses
• Managing your calendar and caseload calendar with your team

Minimum Qualifications:

• JD, JD/MBA from accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice law in NYS
• 10+ years of Plaintiffs no-fault arbitration and no-fault litigation experience mandatory
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Strong oral argument skills, negotiation, detail oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
