Wieland is hiring a Quality Auditor. The Quality Auditor will be responsible for completing data entry for incoming material. This role will be responsible for releasing raw materials to production as well as finished goods to customers. This role will also be responsible for conducting audits that are critical to the quality department's success This role is located in Carol Stream, IL and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay:

Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Responsibilities

Quality Auditor Responsibilities:

Required:

* Organizing receiving documents and distribute to receiving personnel

* Batch reconciliations

* Complete quality checks on finished good batches

* Review incoming material certifications & enter data into Oracle.

* Tag material with appropriate lot number

* Follow the reject process when material is out of specification

* Transacting Import lots into raw material inventory

* Conducting internal audits & assisting with CARs

* Work with QC coordinator(s) to complete calibrations

Preferred:

* Perform mechanical & physical properties testing:

* Tensile, Yield & Elongation testing

* Bend Testing

* Surface Roughness testing

* Rockwell Testing

Quality Auditor Qualifications:

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* Understanding of process flow of material receipt operation

* Knowledgeable in Batch transactions

* Understanding on how to read incoming material labels

* Understanding of critical quality specs

* Knowledge in ASTM standards

* Ability to complete metric to US standard conversions
