Client Services Representative


Job Details

Summary:

The Client Services Representative will primarily focus on client services and help with office management duties as needed. Day to day operations will include core service and administrative duties focused on account maintenance which varies from client onboarding, account opening, handling money movement contributions and distributions, and file maintenance.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing money movement distribution and contribution transactions among accounts.
  • Attend initial review meeting with leadership to determine administration plan.
  • Work with advisors and operations team in compiling all documentation necessary to open new accounts and onboard new relationships.
  • Open new accounts and set-up accounting system and/or portfolio management system.
  • Courteously communicate and greet callers and visitors.
  • Maintain electronic and physical files and documents.
  • Produce, organize and provide documents, reports and marketing packets.
  • Maintain, reorder and stock office supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate details for board, client and/or staff meetings or lunches.
  • Draft, sort and distribute correspondence including: general mail, courier packages, emails and messages.
  • Other general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in banking, accounting, or similar or associate s degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills as necessary.
  • Proven writing, editing, and mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with debits and credits, checking and depository assets, as well as basic traits of securities investments related transactions.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work with affluent clientele as well as people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Can accept direction and constructive criticism as well as politely suggest improvements to others including superiors.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Can work with multiple deadlines and is capable of coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks without specific direction.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a professional manner and to effectively represent Colonial Trust in the communities it serves
