Universal Banker (West Roxbury)

The Cooperative Bank (TCB) is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team at our West Roxbury location!

Overview:

The Universal Banker plays a crucial role in meeting the financial needs of customers and ensuring their satisfaction. This position involves providing top-notch customer service and managing a range of banking operations. The Universal Banker is also committed to owning the customer experience by establishing and nurturing relationships with both current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle various customer service operations, which include processing customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit transactions
  • Recommend appropriate solutions to meet customers financial goals and needs
  • Accurately process routine account maintenance tasks such as processing debit cards, wire transfers, account changes, and stop payments
  • Takes ownership in the development and deepening of customer relationships through proactive onboarding and outreach
  • Support branch growth and goal objectives through individual goal achievement and teamwork

Requirements:

  • High school degree or GED required
  • Six months to two years of proven experience in customer service, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a high degree of integrity
  • Flexibility to work branch hours, including Saturdays, if needed
