We're looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our Mixed-Use & Multifamily studio. As a part of this studio, you'll lead the design and detailing process of the interior experience for a mix of quality housing and commercial businesses. Here's what you'll be doing:


  • Oversee all design phases and technical phases of the project with staff and assist clients through bidding, permitting, and construction administration,
  • Lead and mentor junior staff throughout all phases of the design process, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction drawings and detailing,
  • Engage in diverse projects ranging from small to large,
  • Research and select interior construction materials, finishes, FF&E,
  • Participate in construction administration and review of submittals and finish samples,
  • Develop plans, elevations and architectural details to illustrate the understanding of the space and use of materials,
  • Maintain a positive culture, encouraging and engaging all staff to think critically, strive for professional growth, and continue to push for innovative thinking and design,
  • Work closely with clients to build relationships of loyalty and trust to develop additional business,
  • Responsible for proactive client & consultant communication throughout all phases of the project; Proper documentation of meetings and decisions with archiving in accordance with the firm's protocol.


Here's what you'll need:


  • Bachelor or Master of Interior Design,
  • 10+ years of professional interior design and documentation experience,
  • Multifamily housing experience required (healthcare and hospitality experience a plus),
  • Experience and proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite required,
  • An exceptionally positive and curious attitude,
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior staff,
  • A desire to work creatively within several concurrently tight deadlines,
  • The ability to connect and communicate with a spectrum of personalities.
