Aspirus Langlade Hospital is seeking aResident Assistant to join ourRosalia Gardens Assisted Livingteam!
The Resident Assistant provides personal assistance, activity planning and housekeeping services to residents of Rosalia Gardens, the CBRF. The Resident Assistant will follow a written plan of care prepared by a team of professionals working towards providing the greatest amount of autonomy possible. Reports directly to Rosalia Gardens Manager.
HOURS: Part-time or .5 FTE; 40 hours Bi-Weekly; PM Shift
Responsibilities:
- Addresses the physical and psychological needs of each resident with an approach consistent with the philosophies and mission of Langlade Hospital.
- Completes personal care and coordinates appropriate activities assigned.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
- Completes necessary reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Completes annual competencies at a satisfactory level.
- Establishes quality working relationships with other team members, families, and individuals involved in the resident care plan.
- Takes initiative to respond to changes in resident's situation.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding resident and hospital matters.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures as set forth in the Hospital Policy/Procedure Manual and the Personnel Handbook.
- Attends and actively participates in Staff Meetings, Residents Care Meetings, and continuing education criteria.
- Plans and facilitates appropriate life activities for residents of CBRF.
- Works to create a unique home like environment with co-workers and residents.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by Rosalia Gardens Manager.
- Models the Service Excellence Standards in all interactions and activities.
