Overview:
Prime, paint and prepare machinery and parts using an airless-air assist paint system.
Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Ability to operate airless paint spraying equipment
- Apply primer and paint to parts and completed machinery
- Apply decals, safety labels, and other miscellaneous trim after painting
- Ability to use overhead crane with proper chains/straps/shackles/s-hooks to bring in and out of paint booth
- Cleaning and daily maintenance of painting equipment
- Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required
- Use of personal protective equipment such as face respiratory mask, safety glasses and boots
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements
Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Sit, Stoop, Bend
- Reach above shoulders
- Lift 50 pounds
