Brooke Army Medical Center, serving our military heroes and their families.
As a Full-Time GiaMed JV employee, you can expect:

SCHEDULE: PRN : 1 SHIFT PER WEEK AND 1 MAJOR/ MINOR HOLIDAY - Night shifts
BIRTHING CENTER CONSISTS OF:
- 12 antepartum rooms
- 12 postpartum rooms
- 11 labor rooms
- Fully equipped triage area
- Staffed with Maternal Fetal Specialists
- Staffed with Certified Lactation Consultants
- Staffed with BC Midwives & Obstetricians
Caring for patients in the Labor & Delivery Unit with the ability to cover Antepartum, Postpartum, Couplet Care, and Circulating during C-Sections. Candidates must have well-rounded experience in all areas of Birthing Center for consideration.
As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- ACLS, BLS & Certification Current
- NRP Certification Current
- Intermediate National Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification (within the last 2 years)
- The RN must hold 2 years of full-time experience in an L & D unit within the last 5 years
