Job Purpose
The Driver Helper serves a very important role in assisting our Home Delivery Driver with delivering home furnishings to our local clientele. The Driver Helper will assist in loading, unloading, and setting up the new furnishings in the homes of our clients. The Driver Helper should have a strong customer service-focused personality along with the physical ability to lift and carry furniture frequently into various residential settings.

- Travel with our Delivery Drivers to client homes to make deliveries and pick-ups of home furnishings
- Assist in loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Assist Driver with pre/post trip inspection of furnishings to ensure product arrives in immaculate condition
- Deliver excellent customer service to our clients
- Comply with all Company safety practices
- Overnight stays are possible
- Arrive punctually and consistently to work for normally scheduled hours.

Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent with a clean driving record (MVR).
Working ConditionsThis job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses dolly's or hand trucks while loading or unloading the commercial vehicle, standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
