Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist IIIJob Description
The Medical Lab Scientist III will evaluate the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria, perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures, monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality, and make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving. This role also involves preparing, testing, and evaluating new reagents or controls, reporting accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care, performing and documenting preventive maintenance and quality control procedures, identifying and replenishing testing bench supplies as necessary, and assisting with the processing of specimens when needed.

Shift is variable- May be Day 6AM-6PM or Nights 6PM-6AM -- Training schedule will be day shift M-F 8 hour shift, located in McMinnville, TN
