Stamford Health is seeking a Temporary Payroll Associate to join their team! The Payroll Associate will assist the team with payroll processing, including maintenance of Kronos time collection system, batching entries and file imports in the ADP Enterprise platform. They will also engage with ADP customer service consultant to correct payroll errors. They will also work with Human Resources to ensure rate changes, retro amounts and terminations are processed in a timely and accurate manner. A high level of customer service is required to respond to Stamford Health Medical Group employee payroll inquiries via phone or e-mail.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in processing full-cycle payroll process for Stamford Health Medical Group via ADP Enterprise platform:
Employee Tax and Direct Deposit entry and maintenance
Uploads to Comprehensive Wage Garnishment Service, Tax Liens, Support Orders
Create Batch Entries / Create csv file imports for Incentive, Stipend, Bonus pays
Process Voluntary / Involuntary Termination payments
Additional Earnings Batch Entries
Manual Check entries via Checkmate

2. Assist payroll team with Year End Checklist:
Review holiday processing schedule (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day).
Change ADP processing schedule if necessary
Review 2020 / 2021 Payroll Schedule details including pay dates and period ending dates
Audit preview W-2s and Wage and Tax Registers

3. Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills; ability to work with individuals at all levels across Stamford Health. Well-practiced in handling confidential and private information sensitively and appropriately.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience with ADP Enterprise and Kronos/E-time required
  • Associates degree, some college credit preferred
  • Proficient at MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
