Job Overview

The Packaging Operator III must be proficient at operating all equipment on the Skills Inventory and be able to clean, disassemble, and reassemble equipment proficiently in accordance with applicable cGMPs and SOPs. The Packaging Operator III supports GMPs and SOPs of Piramal Pharma Solutions.

  • Operate proficiently all equipment on the Skills Inventory.
  • Must set up, operate, and change over two packaging lines.
  • Recognize and report Packaging incidents. Support investigations and assist with writing investigations. Update SOP's and support CAPA's.
  • Builds productive, trusting, respectful relationships at all levels in the organization and must consistently act as a team player.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision once assignments are delegated.
  • Follows Piramal Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as business needs require

Experience/Competencies

High school diploma or GED required. Individuals with equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment preferred but not Required.
  • SOP and cGMP experience preferred.
  • Lift/move up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 45 lbs. Able to work safely with heavy equipment.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, feel objects, tools, controls, reach with hand and arms, talk, hear, and good vision.
  • Individual may be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment.
  • Not allergic to chemicals or bio substances found in laboratory or production facilities.


Qualifications
