MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*High School diploma or equivalent
*2 or more years experience in clerical or business office desired
*Computer skills
*Must complete various pre-employment background screenings
*Possess bookkeeping, filing and organizational skills
*Knowledge of the District work order system
*Knowledge of the Student Administrative System
*Ability to work well with the public, students, and teachers
*Knowledge of English, spelling and grammar
*Bilingual desired
*Possess good telephone etiquette
*Possess typing skills (40-50 words per minute)
*Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Ensures that all correspondence is word processed with accuracy in spelling and grammar
*Ensures all publics are treated with dignity and efficiency
*Understands the use of technology in effective and efficient communication
*Ensures publics are aware of events that are of interest to them
*Ensures all materials are available and presented in a professional manner
*Responsible for maintaining an organized process for accessing up-to-date information
*Responsible for account verifications for all programs
*Responsible for ordering supplies/processing purchase and warehouse orders
*Responsible for assisting students, staff, patrons and administration as needed to ensure a safe, orderly and productive environment
*Uses current software programs to complete required daily tasks
*Provides information as requested by public within 24 hours
*Performs all other clerical duties as directed by an administrator
