Dorman Products, a global $1B automotive aftermarket supplier, is looking for a Packager to join our growing team in our VA Beach location (Powertrain Industries) on our weekend shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm.
What you'll be doing:
* Inspect and prepare completed parts
* Package parts according to BOM (Bill of Materials)
* Lifting and setting parts/completed product (up to 70lbs) in designated area to be taken to shipping.
* Follow work instructions and use existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
What we are looking for:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to or learn to operate small hand tools
* Ability to read work orders and instructions given to perform effectively
* Ability to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
