Job Details

As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will be responsible for upgrading client low voltage wiring infrastructure which can include cable pulling, drilling, labeling, testing, termination, access point installation, in a residential and/or commercial environment, working on different sites daily. This is a 4-6 month project Responsibilities: Pull, test, and terminate CAT5e/6a cabling in a commercial environment. Attending Safety meetings, maintain strict adherence to company and client safety standards. Installing support structure such as J-hooks, saddles, slings, and cable tray in drop ceilings. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment. Tie, bundle, & Label cables in a neat and organized manner. Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures. Submit paperwork on time daily. Assist other members of the team with installation. Work full time Monday to Friday shift 7:00 to 16:00 Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small, confined spaces. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Military service in the United States Armed Forces preferred. Available to work full time Monday through Friday with willingness to work OT if needed. 1-3 years of structured cabling, residential cable installation or structural engineering experience Construction background/experience a plus Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and documenting test results for cablin Employment Type: Temp/Seasonal Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $19 - $23 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
