Sodoro Law Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our quickly expanding multi-jurisdictional firm. The candidate must have the ability to practice in Arizona. The ability to practice in Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and/or Colorado is a plus. The ideal candidate will manage transactional and litigation matters, resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients, and primarily focus their practice on Workers' Compensation and liability.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.

2. Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.

3. Provide effective and timely communications, reports, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues.

4. Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.

5. Responsible for prompt, efficient, and effective deposition of assigned cases.

6. Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trial, judicial and administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolutions.

7. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines, be highly organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn and collaborate and an excellent work ethic.
