We are looking for Defense Attorneys to join our client, a prestigious Los Angeles-based law firm renowned for its litigation, trial, and appellate expertise across California and beyond. Known for their victories in high-stakes cases, they are often sought after to "save the day" before trial.
Practice Areas: Civil Litigation(Personal Injury, Medical Law, Family Law, etc.) and Commercial Litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in defense cases, providing expert legal counsel and representation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather evidence to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Engage in pre-trial discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and prepare for trial when necessary.
- Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and other professionals to build strong cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar.
- 2+ years of experience in Defense litigation.
- Proven track record of handling complex and high-value cases.
