Your Role as an Assistant Project Manager: As an Assistant Project Manager at Apex, you will play a pivotal role in various environmental projects, contributing to the firm's mission of environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. *Must reside in Austin, TX - No relo*
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of stormwater controls at construction sites and commercial facilities.
- Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and contribute to Phase II ESAs.
- Utilize your background in earth sciences for wetland delineations and habitat assessments.
- Collect and analyze soil, water, air, and building material samples.
- Interpret data and input findings into comprehensive reports.

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience in environmental field sampling and data collection.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Commitment to safety practices; 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience in light construction is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data management and report preparation.
- Familiarity with editing Phase I and II ESAs is desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
