We are looking for Electrical Technician. This is a contract position. Please check the job description and reply to me if you are available for this position.
Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Golden Valley, MN 55422
Duration: 4 Months
This person would be responsible for creating, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various aspects of the electrical systems of Tennant machines used for development and testing. Candidate would also work with engineers and other technicians to support prototype machine builds, troubleshooting issues and carrying out various project tasks.
Candidate must be able to:
- Read and understand electrical system diagrams and wire harness drawings
- Read and understand PCB schematics
- Use typical electrical lab equipment: Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Soldering Iron
- Use typical electrical hand-tools: wire stripper, crimper, heat gun, etc.
- Build/modify machine electrical systems
- Maintain an organized lab space
- Clearly communicate and demonstrate problem-solving abilities
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of associates degree in electrical or electronic engineering technology
- At least 2 years of experience
- Ability to build wire harnesses will be important core competency.
- Power electronics, power systems, and battery (esp. Lithium Ion) experience preferred.
- Prior Electric Vehicle electrical system experience highly desirable.
- R&D and new product development experience strongly preferred.
