Pay Rate: 37.00 per hour

6 month contract to hire

New York location - New York, NY 10014


The Marketing Operations Assistant is directly responsible for Lead Management consisting of Lead creation, Lead validation, and Lead to Account matching.


Additionally, the Marketing Operations Assistant supports the execution of marketing operational tasks including one-off reports and analysis, contact data work, and marketing campaign setup tasks.


This role is critical to ensuring leads become available to the Sales Organization for follow up in the CRM system (Salesforce) within the agreed upon service level agreements for quality and timing.


  • Support Lead Managementand Database Maintenance
  • Ensure data quality and integrity of all leads created by Marketing for hand-off to Sales in CRM
  • Upload Lead and activity lists from events, business cards, and online registration into database
  • Assign correct Accounts to Leads in Salesforce (CRM)
  • Build understanding of processes to ensure marketing meets SLA agreements
  • Build understanding of technology, integrations and automations that support the process
  • Conduct mass data clean-ups and control for reporting accuracy
  • Work in Excel to perform quick analysis and completion of data
  • Utilize third party tools for data cleaning and completeness


General Responsibilities:

  • Create and update campaign codes in CRM
  • Assist in the creation of Powerpoints, trainings and process documents (including videos)
  • Maintain effective relationships with colleagues
  • Maintain consistent and constant flow of communication to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the achievement of Medidata and Dassault Systemes Life Sciences Experience performance milestones
  • Handle other duties as assigned



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience
  • 2 years experience in a marketing or Sales environment preferred
  • Precise attention to detail - required to be successful in role
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and projects effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment--Quick to implement process changes
  • Ability to think logically and analytically to solve complex problems
  • Basic research skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
