Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.Schedule: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:30amPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated areaOperate power industrial equipment that may require being lifted in the air up to 40 feetUnloads and stacks material by using lifting deviceReplenishes shelves throughout the facility based on the number on the product, by scanning the tag to determine locationPositions and weighs palletsInventories materials on work floor and stocks the shelves in order to replenish necessary productsLoads or unloads materials onto to or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.Must be able to document information as per SOPComplies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendancePersonal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelinesWillingness / capability to cross train/learn job functions in other departments of the facilityPerforms other duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High School diploma ro GEDPrior warehousing experience requiredMust be licensed to operate lift equipment (Licensing may be through internal or external training)SKILLS:Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructionsInterpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in EnglishSpeak effectively with other associates and delivery personnel in EnglishBasic mathematical skills including: addition, subtractration, multiplication and divisionExpected high performance behaviors:Exhibit positive attitude regarding work and responsibilitiesAbility to work collaboratively within teamsAbility to maintain effectiveness during major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to within new work structures, processes, requirements or culturesContinuously look for ways to do things faster and better, while maintaining high quality standardsIs creative and intellectually curious; tries different and novel ways to solve obstaclesPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Regularly lifting up to 40 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds with assistanceWork environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)305529It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl .
