Trashie is hiring for a Logistics Operations Manager to join the Operations and Logistics team of the fastest growing sustainability rewards platform!


We are seeking a results-driven Logistics Operations Manager to lead our operational and logistical functions for our Take Back Bag. This pivotal role involves managing key partnerships, supply chain coordination, and ensuring excellence in our fulfillment and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving efficiency, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring seamless execution across all activities.


What You'll Do:

Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and oversee the entire supply chain process from order receipt to final delivery of full bags at recycling facility. Manage relationships with bag suppliers, 3PL providers, shipping carriers, and recycling facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations from start to finish.


Operational Excellence in Order Fulfillment: Oversee the fulfillment process for Trashie Take Back Bag orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution that consistently meets SLAs. Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and oversee DTC outbound shipments. Oversee the reshipment grid to ensure timely and accurate reshipments.


Partnership Program Operations: Drive and oversee Partnership Program Take Back Bag Purchase Orders, ensuring alignment with timelines, inventory management, and cost controls. Coordinate artwork orientation, sample management, production, shipping, tracking and delivery to ensure flawless execution. Lead and manage all aspects of wholesale orders, payments, and custom program logistics.


Transportation and Distribution: Coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Select and manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Optimize routing and shipping methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


Inventory Management & Print Production: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy. Place and manage orders with print suppliers to ensure timely delivery while meeting standards of quality and cost.


Collaboration with Executive Leadership: Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to align on strategic planning and operational initiatives. Support executive leadership with critical operations and ad hoc tasks.


Process Improvement: Engage in proactive problem-solving with Customer Service, Product, Ecomm and Engineering to address and resolve operational challenges. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.


Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs and OKRs to measure and improve logistics performance. Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management.


About You:

  • You have at least five years of Operations and Logistics experience.
  • You have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • You're an excellent project manager.
  • You're an exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Sustainability experience is a plus! Sustainability interest is a plus!
  • You're a strong communicator and love to build relationships.
  • You're highly interested to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • You have the ability to travel domestically up to 10-15% of the year.
