Due to growth, Aalberts Surface Technologies is seeking a 2nd & 3rd Shift Furnace Operator to join the team at our Manchester, CT facility.
If you have 1+ years of production operating experience this is a career you should explore!
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 4 pm to 12:30 am
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 pm - 8:30 am

Job responsibilities: - The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working with machinery and performing daily maintenance and repairs
- Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required
- Follow written specifications
- Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output
- Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace
- Uses personal protective equipment as required by the job, including but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection
