Formal AU Job Title: Biographical & Gift SpecialistEssential Functions
  • Purpose: Research and analyze donor documentation to accurately input gifts across Auburn University entities, including Auburn University, Auburn University Foundation, Auburn University Real Estate Foundation, Auburn Alumni Association, Tigers Unlimited Foundation and Auburn University Montgomery. Ensuring every gift reflects donor intent, fostering strong relationships and supporting Auburn's philanthropic endeavors.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in Advancement, to streamline gift processing workflows from initial setup to the implementation of the gift agreement with seamless communication and operational efficiency.
  • Innovation: Enhance and automate data reconciliation and implementation using advanced tools to expedite gift processing and maintain data integrity.
  • Production: Process and record gift checks and other giving instruments in the donor records system, accurately determining donor intent. Processes gifts and pledges in accordance with Auburn University and CASE polices, and IRS regulations.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Communications, or a related field.

  • 3 years in data management, data analysis, or financial support services.
