Job Description:


The Product Manager for Generic Pharmaceuticals at Camber will be responsible for developing marketing strategies for new products, managing the assigned product portfolio, and collaborating with sales, supply chain management, and other cross-functional departments to drive business growth. The goal is to achieve revenue and market share targets for new products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of product management processes, committed to driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an onsite / in-office position in Piscataway, New Jersey.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop strategies for product pricing and market positioning.
  • Create project timelines and implementation schedules for assigned products.
  • Identify potential growth opportunities in retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, mail order, and specialty customers.
  • Manage product forecasting, pipeline strategy, pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities, and implement growth strategies.
  • Regularly review and adjust product pricing in response to market conditions.
  • Perform competitive market analysis to develop product definitions and assess gaps.


Minor Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, legal, and regulatory.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis of the product line and guide the sales team to exploit opportunities and drive growth.
  • May attend trade shows and conferences to enhance brand visibility among healthcare professionals and hospitals.
  • Support sales and marketing reporting platforms, track sales performance, and define potential opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams throughout product development stages to ensure successful launches.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure initiative success.
  • Build relationships with product partners to manage dependencies, risks, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Maintain communication channels to gather and analyze technical, financial, schedule, and sales information.
  • Assist in establishing strategic marketing objectives aligned with corporate goals for products and services.
  • Train and guide the field sales team, ensuring they have the necessary scientific and communication skills.


Qualifications:


Education:

  • BS required
  • MS or higher degree preferred


Experience:

  • 2-5 years in the generics pharmaceutical industry
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Experience with new product launches
  • Collaborative working style
  • Basic understanding of the US pharmaceutical environment, especially generics and pricing
